Overall a very good experience at the Maple Grove Sawatdee. Started the evening off with a refreshing blackberry Mojito coupled with spring rolls for an appetizer. The peanut sauce was a nice compliment to the rolls. Followed that up with very delicious main course of chicken cashew stir fry. The portion of stir fry vegetables was huge and placed separate bowl from the white rice. Had the medium spice level which was just right. Sawatdee also has live entertainment playing on a Friday evening. The group performing, Empire Night put on a very nice show including a variety of music from Sade to George Michael Only thing that kept Sawatdee from five stars was when we attempted to leave and close our tab. Seemed the bar tenders took a break at the same time and we waited for another 20 minutes to get our tab closed. Easy to park with plenty of off street places available behind the building. Thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Sawatdee

the staff were really open and helpful when we came in hour before closing to get some food after a concert!!!! thank you so much for being flexible and kind! food was great! i usually go to the St. Cloud sawatdee and was surprised to see some dishes a little different! I love the addition of sushi, it’s a good match with the food! (I especially loved the addition of gyoza ☺️) overall my experience was good here. Again thank you for being so accommodating!

Their food is so delicious. Highly recommend anything here. Happy Hour is 4 to 6 and they have great appetizer specials as well. Was a bit disappointed with service today, a bit slow, but normally excellent.

I and four other friends went there for lunch. We love Thai food so our standards and taste buds are pretty particular about Thai cuisine. For 5 people, we ordered Fried Chicken Wings, pork Pad Thai, pork Thai Fried Rice, the Holy Basil Supreme, and Tom Yum soup, out of which two of the entrees came with a side of rice each. The Holy Basil Supreme was the performer of the day and the Tom Yum was a close second. The Pad Thai was good, however, the fried rice was actually disappointing. The portions were good for what we ended up paying!

My husband and I decided to sit outside and have dinner this evening at your restaurant. He ordered the half duck and it was completely tasteless, skin was gelatinous and very hard to stomach. When the waiter asked if we needed anything else, we told him how unsatisfied my husband was (with a clearly uneaten meal) he looked at us and said ‘oh that’s too bad’ not could I offer you something else or perhaps take it off the bill, nothing. We just stared at him and I finally broke the silence and asked for a box for my meal. He responded with ‘perfect’ and ran off. We work with the public daily and I try to make my clients feel valued. It could have been handled far better in our opinion.
